Turn signal as DRL on Altitude?
I know there is always a way but has anybody wired there turn signals as a DRL on their Altitude's yet? I tried searching but did not get any results. I think with the black housing and the yellow lense, it would look good plus the added safety benefit.

Not sure where you live, but that sounds illegal and a bit dangerous.

It would not be illegal or dangerous. Not sure your reasoning. The lights would still function as turn signals when needed but also function as DRL's. There are numerous other cars that come like that from the factory.

could it be done yes, in theory.

You'll need relays to send power from the DRL to the turn signal bulb, and to have it so the relay cuts the DRL power when the turn signal is activated. Or, the much less headache version of that.

On the left of there page click on Daytime running lights, scroll to the bottom, that module when wired in will allow you to use your turn signals as DRLs, and still function as Turn Signals. Seems like thats your best bet.

Part number DRL-1 Instructions can also be found on the website, looks fairly easy, shouldnt take much moe then an HR to make it look factory. My time may be slightly off as i was a car audio installer for 8 years.

Thank you. That's what I was looking for. I don't have stock DRL's so I wasn't sure how to do it.
