New Addco Rear Sway bar, Do I need the front bar too?

Hi Guys,

I want to add the Addco rear Sway Bar but I was curios if I have to add the Front sway bar too? Will it affect my handling poorly just adding the rear?

Cheers, Bloke

You do not need to do both...there will be no adverse affects. The rear will improve your overall ride significantly. I bought both, and started with the rear, test drove it, then installed the front, and drove it again. The front one does an awful lot to remove that oversteer feel and adds a lot of stability as well, so you may want to put it on your "wishlist"...but no, no issues at all doing just one and not the other.

Well on a stock height WJ I agree with Tony but if you are lifted or planning a lift definitely do both at the same time. I did just the rear on my lifted GC and now it seems to amplify the inadequacy of the stock front bar.The rear now feels planted in turns but now the front feels too loose. Nothing major just kinda unbalanced. The front bar is definitely number one on my winter projects list along with some quick disconnects.

Thanks for the feed back. I have an overland with the stock 2" lift. I think I'll just go with the back and put the fronts on hold.

Cheers!
