General Grabber AT2 Tire Pressure

Put some AT2s on my WJ the other day. I put them at the 33psi recommended on the door but they look low to me. According to the General Tire website it says for 225/75R16 it's max pressure is 51psi.

Anyone else running higher than 33psi in their AT2s? I'm thinking I'll probably go up to between 36-40 and see if they 'straighten' out. Just curious if others run 40psi or more.

You should stick fairly close to the 33psi but a few extra pounds wont hurt. Dont go up to 51psi, thats max for the tire and they will wear fast in the center and ride like a tank. As long as the tread is flat on the pavement you should be ok.

Bump them up a little, depending on load/weight on the tire, 40 will prob be fine. These tires wear well. Good luck.

I bumped them up to 40psi. The sidewalls straightened out instead of having the "lump" at the bottom. Rides like a dream...so far I love these tires!
