Suspension rubbing on WK with 4" Superlift

Hello,

I'm running a superlift 4" suspension, and today I put on the OME front springs (heavy load) because I have an ARB bull bar and my suspension was sagging with stock springs. However, now my springs are rubbing against the spindle where it connects to the upper control arm. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and has any ideas how to fix it. I am thinking about just grinding off the small knob on the spindle that is rubbing, or ordering new upper control arms from OME. Any help on this would be appreciated as it sounds like my Jeep is falling apart everytime I hit a bump .

Sounds like you need wheel spacers or get new wheels to accommodate the proper spacing. Did you get larger tires?

I found a solution and it was to grind just a bit of the knuckle off where it was hitting the springs. The tires and wheels I don't have a problem with. Thank you though. I have pictures I'll post when I get home.

I see you found a solution! The problem is that the OME coils are thicker than the OEM coils. So you were probably just barely clearing before and then you swapped to a thicker coil and the gap was closed. Do they now clear a full drop?

Sorry didn't read that right the first time. Didn't realize you said the springs were hitting...
