Recommendation for a Houston area custom installer

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to the forums and I've purchased a 12 Laredo X. I'm enjoying the hell out of it. It's a 4x4 HEMI so I've upgraded the tires to the Firestone Destination AT 265/65/18's and that has made a difference in ride performance and also looks. I've ordered the roof rails as well.

Anyway to the point of this post. I recently spoke with Steve from KBcarstuff.com. Great guy and very helpful. I'm going to be purchasing the HID kit from him. I'd like to get some recommendations from you all on a installer for custom parts for our WK2's in the Houston area. I enjoy doing the work from time to time but in most cases these days I'd rather pay someone to knock it out for me.

With all that said if any of you can post some shops in the Houston area that you've had work done and were satisfied I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

I'd see what members are local, save a few bucks and throw back a few beers and BS. They're not that hard to install.

What "part" of Houston? I have a shop I used in the Woodlands to install my Eibach lowering springs.....not the cheapest place but they did an awesome job and great bunch of car guys.

they couldn't believe I was lowering a Jeep with less than a 1000 miles on it. :)

Well I live in the Heights area but I work in the Woodlands so that could work out. Do you have the business name? Yea lowering your new Jeep does seem a bit sacrilegious.. :)

Thanks in advance.

the place I used is: Woodlands Car Care
24645 Budde Road
77380

281-363-2300

you might also want to try: WPS
I've heard alot of good stuff about them....they do alot of custom work.

Thanks five.7

That's funny because my office is on the same road. I drive by those guys everyday. They look more like a body shop but I've heard they do some good work. I'll check out the other guys as well.

I'm looking to replace the front door speakers and the dash speaker as well but of course I've heard mixed things about not adding an amp to them since I'm staying with the stock head unit. If you have any recommendations on quality audio installers I'm all ears there as well.

Do you have any pics of your lowered Jeep?

That's sweet man. Did you have the work done by the WPS or the woodlands car care as far as the exhaust? That seems a little loud but I'm tempted. I want to get the HID's installed and some other minor tweaks then the speakers.

Have you delved into upgrading the speakers yet?

I checked out your new video with the cuts and though you did a pretty sweet job.

Don't let the video fool you......it's really loud. :)

No, I installed the exhaust myself. Yep, I'm that guy.....the one that likes to do things himself. Almost forgot, my 7 year old son helped. I let him start it the first time. He thought that was so cool!
