Radiator Hose Upgrade

Currently in the process of changing out all my hoses and belts in my 5.7 Hemi. Looking to do some upgrades to the parts. I plan to be taking this thing to hell and back, and I definitely don't want a radiator or heater hose blowing out on me in the middle of the desert.

Has anyone ever used this part (http://www.ssaccessories.com/servlet...-Hose/Detail)?

It's for a 300 with a 5.7 Hemi, but that shouldn't make a difference, correct?

Anyone want to throw out some heavy duty alternatives?

The 6.1s have been known to leak and spray coolant onto our intakes.

Not a bad idea! I had to replace my radiator hoses on 3.7L. Had a leak at 75,000 and was loosing coolant. Good thing I caught it. Also check the hose from the reservoir. That little hose does not make the best seal. I had to add a clamp on the pressure cap/valve side. Small leak there too probably from the heating and cooling of the cap.

I don't know how far into it you want to get ,but I swapped mine with a stainless steel summit racing hose. however I had to change the thermostat housing to get it to fit .I've had it on for several months now, a few trips from Kansas to New Jersey and back ,and lots of days over 100 degrees . no problems whatsoever . I'm not home now but if you click the link in my sig it's all in my build thread.
