Daytime running lights
New guy here so be patient with me.

Have a 2011 GC Overland Summit. Equipped with HID lights (factory) and I'd like to convert my DRL's to bright white. Inquiring with dealer tech and I'm told in order to get the headlight housing out for access one has to remove the entire grille.!!!

On my '09 GC Overland, there were two 10mm bolts (long) that were removed and then you could just pop out the entire assembly.

Can anyone advise re: grille removal and recommendations for a replacement bulb.???

If there's an existing thread regarding this please steer me.

Thanks much for assistance in advance.

Re: Daytime running lights
Driver and Passenger side bulbs are accessible from the engine compartment.
Remove the cold air intake on the driver's side to improve the access on that side.
Once you get your hand on the receptacle you just need a quarter turn to release
it from the housing.

There was a response to another question about using the access opening in the
wheel well, but I haven't tried that.

The access through the wheel well is for the fog lights.

For both fog lights?

Can i get the link for that please, ive been looking for that thread.

As for the DRLs, passenger side is very easy, the driver side needs a little work.
