No fire Cylinders 1 and 2

2005 Jeep GC 4.7l engine put in our 2001. Engine came complete with PCM, harness and flywheel. We have changed all crank and cam sensors, complete new timing chains and gears and it will crank and try to start but never does. There is no spark at cylinders 1 and 2 even when replaced......does that mean coil pack issues?? We are stumped and at each others throats :) :slapfight:

Take a coil from another cylinder to see if the problem follows the coil or not.

I said the same thing scott... on their first post that I moved to the WJ forum, they took the wireharness and pcm from the WK...

That said, there are no easy answers, with a huge nightmare of a swap it could be ANYTHING, there is nothing a forum will be able to do unfourtunatly, you should realistically still be able to run on 6 cylinders so your lack of spark on those cylinders should not be preventing the engine from running. I see the fact that the back to what I said in the other thread, the comunication bus is different, so your likely not going to have functional gauges even if you get it running, but I really see some huge problems. This is obviously not anything I would have messed with or suggested or performed, and there may be a way to make it happen but I personally dont see this working out very well.

Didn't even see that other thread or really read this one....yeah, this is a clusterf**k and don't see this working out too well. Best of luck anyways.
