Specs on jeep.com.au

just noticed tonight that the Jeep Australia website shows the Overland as having the 3.6L engine standard and the Hemi and Diesel as an option. And it's saying it has Quadra-Trac II as standard and Quadra-Drive II as an option.

Check it out: http://www.jeep.com.au/compare-models-grand-cherokee

As I'm still waiting for my car I panicked and checked my build sheet, I thought it might have been a MY13 thing that I didn't know about. Must be an error but it's a pretty bad one.

There are quite a few errors in Jeep AU's website, brochures and owners manual. They either dont proof read their content, or simply dont have a clue.

That's bizarre....
I know in the last month or so I've looked at that and those changes weren't there.
If you click on the pricing tab and select the GC there is no option for the V6 petrol Overland...
I think in the USA they can get the Overland in V6, maybe Jeep AU's website is partially defaulting the the US spec vehicles?

I think it because that work experience kid, Craig Bradshaw, does not know the differences between the cars, and writes the brochures himself from articles he reads from the various Somalia and Mogadishu motoring journals.

That sounds plausible Ally, he must be Clyde's cousin as they are both useless.

Fair enough, I can see a market for that. So I guess they will be around the $65,000 + orc?

I'll keep my CRD order thanks :)

I'm very happy with my CRD, it's my first ever diesel car but if I were to swap for a petrol, I'd go with the hemi hands down. When I test drove all 3 engines last year I felt the penstar had good pulling power but I felt it struggled a little with the weight of the car when compared with the other 2 engines.

^ +1 actually didn't try the v8 too scared I'd buy it and doesn't come in Laredo.

Re: Specs on jeep.com.au

+ 2. I tried all 3 engines as well and the V6 petrol just did not do anything for me, agree too much weight for the Pentastar. Would be happy with either Hemi or CRD, cost of running was the sole deciding factor.
