Low Tire Pressure

Walked into my car and saw my light go off for low tire pressure, I went to add air to that tire in hopes of the light going away. Obviously I knew it would take a bit for the TPMS to say the tires fine. Well I drove it all day and the light never went away. Here's a picture of my EVIC

Any ideas?

Re: Low Tire Pressure

I think you need to raise the tire pressure to like 36psi or so in the offending tire to reset a low warning. Once the warning is reset, you can adjust your pressure.

RAISE IT TO 38 and drive for a day or two it will go off, I had nitrogen put in mine and pressure stays almost perfect

Weird, I just had my tires rotated and balanced less than 200 hundred miles ago... I thought 34 was the standard psi the Jeep needed. But also, it highlights my front right tire only, not all four.

You just raise the psi until the warning resets. It should reset within 20 minutes of driving. After the reset, you can use whatever psi you like (should be posted on your door).

My wife likes her tires on the soft side and we often see this as the temperatures starts to drop overnight in the fall, which also drops tire pressure.

I appreciate the help, thank you. I'll go refill it again today, there goes another 75 cents :P

Check convenience stores. They do not charge for air around here like the big oil company stations do.
