Additional switch req'd

I have installed led lighting under my Jeep WK. Is there a switch available from jeep for any sort of aux or accesssory lighting that would fit into the stock switch blank positions??

I know saguaro 4x4 makes a switch panel that fits in the cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.

That would be about the only option, use the saguaro switch bank, jeep does not make any kind of switch.

I know its been done, there is a writeup somewhere on here about a custom radar detector install that used the factory switch blank, he has put a monetary push button switch inside and it allowed him to mute his radar.

You could take that idea and run with it.

x3 on the saguaro 4x4 switch panel and switches.... only thing is you run into an issue if you have an 08+... that cubby hole on the left is a little smaller than the 05-07s and the panel is too large... anyone know if they or anyone else makes something to insert switches into the cubby hole of an 08+ ?? i guess you could buy the saguaro and cut it down.. but it wont look as nice.. and i dont think you would have even spaces to fit switches.. you may end up with like 2 and a half spaces..

any solutions? anyone with an 08+ mod the cubby hole for switches?

On my jeep I used to have Hella offroad lights and i put the switch next to the OBD port. It was out of sight and was in a pretty convenient place.

thanks madanio, i actually came across this the other day, guess they built a smaller one for us 08+ guys... only thing is you need to get the CarlingTech switches they are meant to work with seperatly and I hear they can be expensive.

thinking of adding hella black magics behind my grill like Lucas did, and wanna see my best options for the neatest most effecient wiring and switch options.

I think they look very cool behind the grille. If you are only wiring 2 lights behind the grille i wouldnt do any wiring to crazy. I used to have safari lights and basically what i did was have one wire from the fuse box under the hood comming into the vehicle through the hood grommit. Then i grounded that on the closest point under the steering column. Then i had to run one more wire back out of the vehucle to the safari lights for power.
