IAT extension question for BWoody
I was working on installing my new BWoody 4" intake, however the extension that came with it was slightly different than the one I have. Do any of you guys have a CAI into on an 05? Is the IAT different for 05 to an 06? I'm just not sure if I should just extend the wires myself, as I'd like to not splice wires.

You're help's greatly appreciated!

Re: IAT extension question for BWoody
dang the srt8 is a diff sensor than the WK, i bet thats the issue.

id ask bwoody if they can make the correct one so you dont have to cut wires like you said........

Re: IAT extension question for BWoody
a little more info:

it looks like the connector for the sensor is available sperately from Jeep

if you go here and pick a 2005 WK then hit view connectors

then look for this in the drop down

it has mopar part number 05014003AA this should be the connector you need. then just cut the bwoody, add this and bang! off you go.

Re: IAT extension question for BWoody
I had this issue when I got my bwoody. I just took it to a shop and had a guy splice some wires for me. Took him 15 minutes and he charged me like 10$.

Re: IAT extension question for BWoody
Thanks for the quick help guys, I emailed BWoody to see if they have a different extension, otherwise, I'll just make my own.

Re: IAT extension question for BWoody
I just ended up making my own extension harness. I cut the end off the jeep, and spliced in some quick disconnects, and added about two feet of wire. I wrapped it all up nice with wire loom, and have it zip-tied out of the way. Almost looks stock :)

I'm loving the BWoody!

I don't have any of the installation process or the wire extension. I just snapped a few from the garage, it's too dark and cold to take photos tonight. It's about 15 degrees here in St. Paul. The extension was a breeze to make, the green wire's a ground, the other is a signal. I just hacked off the connector, then added some quick connects, put it in wire loom and zip-tied it out of the way.

I apologize in advance for the dirty engine bay.

Here, you can see where I zip-tied the wires out of the way. I've got some clean-up to do, but my hands were freezing.
