Build codes for the WK2?
Hello,we have a WK2 2011 5.7 4x4 and a TSB jumps out at me to have looked at. Is there a sticker anywhere on the GC that tells me what code trans it has? (i.e. DFP,DG7,DGQ DG1). Thanks......JB.

Re: Build codes for the WK2?
I don't think its on a sticker, but the codes for your vehicle would be listed on your build sheet. If you don't have a build sheet, you can request one from Jeep. Milous can also provide a nicely formatted build sheet when you become a Level III supporter, I think.

DGQ by the way is the 545RFE transmission used in at least the 2011 V8, maybe others.

Re: Build codes for the WK2?
The recall if anyone is interested is when you drive the Jeep and it warms up and you stop and put it from drive to neutral, it clunks like you have been driving in 4wd. We caught this when we picked it up and had the dealer record it. According to the TSB it requires replacement of the valve body..........JB.

DGJ is the W5A580 five speed for a 4x2 2012 WK2 with Pentastar.

"DGJ" would be the code for the transmission only (nothing to do with 4x2/4x4, engine, model year).
