TC & Front/Rear Diff 30k Service

So i have 33k miles on my WK and im starting to do my 30k miles service.
Changed my spark plugs yesterday, it was a piece of cake.
Went to the stealership today to find out how much would be the service.
They told me $180 for TC and $180 for front/rear diff.
When i asked for parts/fluids that i need, the guy gave me an estimate of $220 just for fluids.
1 bottle of lubricant (4318060ab) $10 each
5 bottles(qt) of 75w-140 (4874469) $33 each
1 tube of sealer RTV (82300234) $10
2 bottles(qt) of ATF-4 (5013457aa) $9 each
+ tax

I checked wkjeeps.com and compared.
Shows me that i only need 4 bottles of 75w-140 intead of 5, and 1 bottle of ATF-4 instead of 2. + the lubricant and the sealer.

Did an estimate on wholesalemopar.com and everything came out to $140 with shipping.

What do you guys think of this price? If you have done the 30k service, how much of everything did you use? and how hard is it to DIY?

I am a little confused as to the parts list they provided for the fluids, as they list ATF+4 for the transfer case, which leads me to assume you don't have QDII. The limited slip additive (4318060ab) that they quote, I thought, was only required for vehicles with ELSD...something looks odd about that.

You should be able to pick up everything you need from a local parts store (1 bottle of ATF+4...it should only take .7qts., 4 bottles of 75W140 synthetic gear lube, RTV sealant) for under $100 ($10 for the ATF, $75 for the gear oil, and under $5 for the RTV sealant).

The job itself is easy...plenty of write-ups on here how to tackle it. The hardest part I had was finding a 14mm hex socket (I believe it was) to remove the fill plug on the front differential!

I thought the 15 buck a qt for the redline synthetic 75w140 at my dealer was really expensive (my cost 9 and change)... It is bulk but its full synthetic goodness.

I found valvoline (or however you spell it) for $13 a qt in autozone. They were out of stock, but should have it on wednesday.

Also found mobile 1 75w140 full synthetic at $20 a bottle. What do you guys think? Which is better, mobile 1 or valvoline?

I go with whatever 75W140 synthetic is on sale.

Close to 200,000 miles, with no issues - making sure you change it at regular intervals is far more important than a specific brand of gear oil, IMO.

i buy royal purple 75w140 from advance auto for $20 a qt and use their online codes to get it quite cheap.

30K spark plug change? I must have missed that when I purchased at 26K. None of this stuff listed is required until 60K on my 07?

Speaking of which... could someone tell me where to get a dipstick for my 07?
