a black nerf bar is coming for my black altitude. I will post some pics when I have it installed on mine. I am hoping it would look really good.

We offer many different choices for the Altitude. We have them available in black and stainless finishes. I have included below a photo of the stainless 3inch steelcraft bars with a part number of 223207. The black part number for those are 223200.
If you are looking for straight bars then we offer Westin bars which range in sizes. Let me know if you need additional info or any help.

Any benefit to go with either the Steelcraft or STK 3" other than price?

You could likely pick up the Mopar black ones fairly inexpensively as well. Personally I'd love lo get rid of my black ones to pick up the chromed ones.

MOPAR ovals are great if you have a size 5 foot.

I picked up a set of Steelcraft 3 inch black side steps for $149 shipped, I was skeptical if I would like them or not, however, when I installed them I loved it. It made the car look more complete without distracting the look of the car.

Basically they are made the same just the name on the product is different. We offer both styles because the individuals that go with Steelcraft know the name, and there are others that want pay less so that is why we offer the STK.

Those black powdercoated sidesteps are Niiiiiiiicccccceeeeeeeee. I don't want sidesteps myself, but I bet those look great, especially on a black Altitude.
