Jam jar in my engine....
I have recently bought a 2004 grand cherokee laredo and it came up with a turbo boost sensor error, so i took it out to give it a clean to see if it would solve the problem, and that was when i discovered this "jam jar" in my engine... See pics. What is it for? attached

Looks like some crazy home made stuff. I would like to know what that is as well. Lets see if anyone knows.

Yea it only has power going from the fusebox to it with a fuse connected in between, and then going into the pipe before the turbo, but there is nothing in the bottle. Don't know what it would do if i take it out.

Ok, took my jeep in to the dealership, and they say its a " home made" conversion to save feul...

They also picked up a couple of problems... Turbo, information cluster, injectors, diesel leak, crapload of sensors..... Total estimate R66500. Luckily the dealer where i bought it is paying.

When I brought my 1st GTO there was a coffee can under the hood. I laughed, and threw it away thinking who the hell put that there. Well guess what I went to use my headlights, and they wouldn't open because they had no vacuum. LOL

Re: Jam jar in my engine....
It's a "state of art" Hydrogen-Sulfur-Gas generator that will end your gas guzzling problems!:p Of course, as soon as you fill it with water that is! But by the time you'll see real savings is when you won't have an engine to "fuel"! The gas will slowly chew up the aluminum and guess what will happen with your engine internals!:violin:
