wow...great pics! Just saw these on inside line.

I was talking with Mike@Bwoody a couple days ago and he mentioned he had replaced the rear resonators with staright pipe. Im waiting on an exhaust clip. I think Im def. gonna wait on a FULL Borla catback.....or maybe Corsa. Its funny corsa hasnt come out with an exhaust...even though theyve had several jeeps in for development????!!!???

Look how huge the front Brembos are....LOL.

I'm removing the resonators on Thursday and going with strait pipes as well. I will try to post a video

I don't think you would like the sound of the exhaust above 70mph. I had replaced the resonators with flowmaster 10 mufflers which are pretty much straight flow. When the eco kicked in it got pretty annoying. Sounded kinda like an old John Deere 70 tractor. With the Borla the sound got throatier and did away with much of the annoying sound of the eco mode. Plus, I did notice a performance increase in acceleration from a standing start. I'm pretty happy the way it is now!

I somewhat expected the Eco to get worse but I'm just going to drive with the paddles on the highway for now. I'm just doing this now because I don't have time to get up to my exhaust shop to have the full cat-back done. This is only temporary I'm just bored with how it sounds and want to do something now.

I've been weighting options to remove the suitcase muffler and replace it with something to complement the borla atak I'm already running. Been debating just going straight pipe with an h-pipe, or x-pipe. If not that maybe throwing in some resonators with an x or h pipe.

This is the resonator I was thinking of using. I haven't had the time to get under the Jeep and take measurements to see if they'd work. These pics definitely help trying to visual what can be done.

I'd also have that kink taken care of while I was at it. If I do end up doing something with that muffler it would be done in 3" pipe and mate to the factory 2.75" piping.

Any thoughts?

I'd be curious to see what would happen with replacing the muffler with the h pipe and nothing else besides the borla.

I also have been leaning towards doing the h pipe for the deeper sound vs the x pipe.
