Replacing 2000 WJ Tail lights

Hey guys, i need to replace my Tail lights, would like the LED lights if possible, to avoid getting another fixture with that dang bulb-socket burning issue. I am writing to see who your recommendation for an LED fixture would be. Thanks,
-Ross

There is a thread somewhere on the board in which someone installed these on their WJ. I cannot find it at this time. They look really nice and plan to go with them when finances allow.

so if you put these in you can run LEDs without wiring a resistor in for the turn signals???

You still need a resistor if you want to do LED turn signals. I have these tails and love them! Highly recommended. However, they use a standard filament bulb for turn signal and reverse, bulb #1156. I have left a filament bulb in the turn signal rather than wire a resistor, but I bought a set of 7W high power LED reverse bulbs from VLEDs, they are insanely bright.

Great set of lights, I had a post about these when I got them for my old WJ.
I would highly recommend them, I would also suggest the "tinted" ones which look better IMO, although they really are not that tinted at all, just the signal/reverse is slightly.
