Detailing

Hey all, looked on the forum but could not find anything pertaining to this. So I just had a crazy week at school (mid-terms) and really just want to relax by detailing my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I want to really do a great job detailing so i want to know what i need in order to do this and the steps. I know that i need to clean the car, use clay, use polish, use wax, but is there anything else. I am really new at this. Thanks in advance.

Mid-Terms already? I still have three more weeks left until mid-terms unless you are taking 8-week classes....

Anyway we have a Vendor calld DetailedImage.com Do you plan on polishing by hand or with machine? I would suggest a sealant like JetSeal109 also. Make sure you use microfiber towels and use the two-bucket method!

well its more or less like mid-terms. i have 3 test plus a final for all my classes. Back to the detailing. I was thinking about doing it by hand, but is there a cheap machine or attachment i can buy?

there tons of threads on detailing here with products and steps.

This is what i do for my complete detail

wash with citrus wash chemical guys, clay, wash again, ultimate compound, ultimate polish, sealant, ultimate wax.

Def by machine will make ur life easier.I have a Meguiars DA and i love it!

hey everyone, sorry for wasting your time. Found the detailing forum on the main page. The reason why I did not find a lot about detailing was that I was just searching the WK2 forum. Thanks for your help.

Ice attracts a lot of dirt and dust. It smells good , but will never go on any of my cars
