Headlights for WJ - opinions?

Hey, so I'm looking at getting some new projector headlights to replace the stock ones on my WJ. I'm considering the following:

1) 99-04 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE PROJECTOR HEADLIGHT 2000 2001 | eBay

2) 99-04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Chrome Halo R8 LED Strip Projector Headlights Lamps | eBay

I've seen #1 done, so I know it works well with a lot of WJ's. But I've never seen #2 before. And I know a lot of people think the little Audi lights are way over-done, but...those damn halos inspired by BMW are WAY more over-done in the aftermarket world. Personally, I think the little Audi lights give it a little class, & if possible, would disable the halos on either option.

Thoughts? Opinions? Anyone know someone with #2 on the WJ? Would love to see some pics. Thanks.

If I can jump in on the same topic I've asked the question of one of the light sellers but no response as yet. Are the projector beam lights non directional in that they can be aligned for aim and dipping in the right direction for both left or right hand drive. I'm chasing a set here in Aus but they are all US based. For a traditional headlight there are lens or reflector patterns that determine which way the beams aim or dip so a LHD application is no good here but I'm hoping the projector beams as such have no directional deflection device and can simply be aimed whereever you want. I don't really care about all the halo and LEDs i just wnat some new clear lights and HID's and the projectors seem like the best value and a bit fo bling doesn't go astray..

hellothom: I like #2, but it's amber reflectors.

fester: Projectors in the headlights just up and down, you don't need left to right unless you have projector fog lights. All's ya gotta do is line up the left and the right housings and your good to go. I have LEDs and CCFL's in my Gen II housings but I have them connected to two toggle switches. That way I can mix it up a bit or not turn them on at all.

I have the lights in #2 above. I went with XenonDepot Xtreme Digital HID Kit with Phillips bulbs. I have really enjoyed them. The halos are bright...The LED strips are a little dim when compared to the CCFL halos. I wired the CCFL halo and LED strip to my running lights. The projectors/HID bulbs work great and I do not even use my high beams any more.

Another item of note, the Gen IV projectors are using H7(low) and H1(high) bulbs.

Depend on the manufacturer for the Gen IV's
