Roof rack recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a good rack brand, supporting both snow board rack and thule type carriers?

I'm seeing a few cross racks on ebay; just wondering what's the best out there for my 2011 GC

Thanks in advance

There are a number of great options. I installed Thule's Aeroblades.

Here's a thread you can check out.

Thanks for the thread... the black looks sick.

Were the mounts to the side rails included with the cross blades? Everything i'm seeing doesn't include the mount, so just curious if i'm missing something.

Aeroblades (load bars), foot pack and fit kit are the three components you need. If you visit the Thule website it'll walk you through the fitment. I purchased mine through rackoutfitters, they were the only ones providing a black powdercoat option at the time.

There is also the Mopar 2011-12 accessories route as well...

These basic black cross bars are available from all dealers & mount in the stock roof rails plus have the options to carry additional toys.

Here is a link to an Amazon great price seller:

I just picked up the Mopar roof racks and they look quite nice. They're easy to install and very sturdy.

Just bought this cross-bar kit and bike rack on eBay. Total less than $235. Here's hoping....

Saw those as well. Let us know how the cross bars are after you install. Ive been considering the mopar rails but they stick up so high. Was thinking about rhino rails aero bars but they are about $100 more than the mopar rails. Would just be using them for skis so if those ebay ones are solid. I might just have to go that route.

i actually just ordered thule system. damn was that costly. i think i spent a little over 500 for the whole thing. the feet, crossbars, holder, and the fit kit. at the time when i ordered it 10% discount was the best i could find. then i found autoanything.com and they were doing a promo, at the time, 15% off for new members. so signed up, ordered, and bam got the cheapest for the set from what i could find. its the same setup as collegeboy just not powder coated. kinda wish i had that option. looks great!!

It depends on your needs, but I can highly recommend the Rocky Roads roof rack system. It is very sturdy and looks properly "Jeep rugged." Also, if you don't want their crossbars, I believe Thule now has a crossbar system that will fit the roof rails.

I got a rack from Garvin and I love it. Here is a link to a thread about it.

The trade-off with the RRO rack is alot of wind noise. This is the concern with most of the tracks I've tried. Your gonna want one that you can easily take off when your not using.
