Infinity Speakers upgrade...

Hi. I know that some of you have upgraded to infinity speakers reference series but I would like to know which model of the reference series you have installed on your wk? I have seen that there are several models such as the 6953i, 9623i, 9633i etc., but I don't know which one I should be looking for? Appreciate your help.

I'm using the reference 3032CF in the dash. Had to trim the backside of the speaker grilles for them to fit better, no bass blockers needed. Everything else is stock BA.

I ordered all 2 way infinity reference, you need 3.5, 6.5 and 6X9 inch size.

Go for the infinitys, these have a 2 omh impedance that will work best with the stock BA amplier and will sound louder than the 4 omh alternatives such as BA.

Joe I've purchased Infinitys for most stereo's I've had, and they've been great. I've normally had large high end external amps, but this time I'd like to keep the stock BA system for now at least. I don't need to feel the air moving in my car anymore, nor do I feel like being followed home. How do you feel about there bass output? Did you feel more-less, and do the bass notes stay clear? I'm hoping for a touch more than original.

I have just ordered them, they are not installed yet. I will have all the doors dinamatted for sound proofing and better bass response too, I will get back to you with impressions once it is done.

im going a different route.and getting focal components up front, alpine tweeters in the rear, stealthbox, a new amp and a lc6i converter. I just feel the stock alpine amp is not.close to 506.wattd. I dont think the stock alpine system is bad, bit for a 40k vehicle it.could.be better

Im trying to keep it simple, and I've had enough of being followed home. Matt I cant wait to hear your truck, or maybe I shouldn't.
