Re: Hemi oil cooler
To the best of my knowledge, that would be you power steering oil cooler. Only the 3.6L V6 and the 6.4L V8 have an engine oil cooler. The 5.7L V8 does not have an engine oil cooler for the 2012 WK2.

Re: Hemi oil cooler
i thought i had one because of the tow package,my oil temp does not react to the collant temp i get as high as 225 on the oil temp while the coolant is at 200.

Re: Hemi oil cooler
I thought the engine oil cooler was under/near where the oil filter spins on. I believe there is a stacked plate oil cooler in that location with coolant hoses attached.

I am pretty sure that is how it is on my 2012 Summit 5.7.

3.0L CRD oil cooler

Engine coolant is used to cool the oil. A plate-style external heat exchanger is located on the left side of the engine block. A single O-ring style gaskets seal the oil cooler to the oil cooler adapter. Replace the O-ring style gaskets whenever the oil cooler is removed or replaced. The oil is fed to the oil cooler through the oil filter. After the oil cooler, the oil is fed back to the main oil gallery of the cylinder block. The oil cooler and adapter is located on the left side of the engine block.

3.6L oil cooler

The oil cooler is attached to the top of the oil filter housing which is located in the V of the cylinder block. The oil cooler is a plate style coolant-to-oil heat exchanger.

6.4L Hemi oil cooler

The engine oil cooler (2) is engineered for maximum cooling efficiency with no restriction in oil flow. The oil cooler is a stack plate design coolant-to-oil heat exchanger.

The oil cooler (2) is mounted between the oil filter (1) and the engine block. The oil cooler uses the radiator coolant system; coolant is circulated through two coolant hoses to maintain a consistent engine oil temperature.
