JEEP 2011 dealership problems
Hi all,
I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
Over the past month or so it's been failing to start at all. The engine tick over, the lights come on but nothing happens.. A nightmare.
Sometimes it won't start for like 3-6 times and them vroom something kicks in and it starts.
It's not the battery and I have fuel in the tank.
The dealership took the vehicle, change the right fuel pump. I got car back and then whilst driving the check engine light came on. Then an hour later it wouldn't start again. I took it back to dealership and the took another five days to replace to left fuel pump. Both under warranty of course.
Now I've had it back for two days and it's not starting again. It's such a pain in the balls and so inconvenient and now they won't give me a free rental car either and I'm losing out on work because I don't have a vehicle.
Does anyone know at all what the problem could be? A lot of people telling me it could be the technical system which is obviously very dangerous and therefore a lot of people are telling me to look into the lemon law.
Any thoughts or help would be massively appreciated.

Re: JEEP 2011 dealership problems
First, before losing work, rent a cheap car.

The entire vehicle is a technical system. Keep receipts for each repair, and if the problem reaches the standard of your state's lemon law, that is an option.

You might also try bringing it to another dealer.

From your description (not seeing it first hand) it sounds like a bad ignition switch is a possibility. I had something similar with a TrailBlazer.

Re: JEEP 2011 dealership problems
I know people will think im a dick head with this comment, but every customer has a chance to talk to Finanace, where they sell service contracts which.....yes, will cover a rental car on a NON service contract repair.... You said no, so you cant freak on them for no car.
