Not just a road warrior

Just thought I would post a few pictures of the WJ out doing some real work last weekend. The pic whore trait must be rubbing off on me from Tony...

My Dad is part owner of some land that the guys fly radio controlled airplanes from, its an old sod field with about a 3/4 mile access road through the woods. We brought the chainsaw and pole trimmer with to clean up some dead stuff and some low hanging branches along the road:

This is where my jeep should be every weekend! I had at least 500 lbs. of firewood in the back, enough that she was sagging almost an inch on the springs. Now, time for some bonfires!

Nice shots! I drive a WJ half the time these days and it's great to have that solid axle "truck" feeling now and then :) I also love the seats. Going from a WJ straight into the WK is like getting off the couch to sleep on the floor.

Feels great! Almost as good as using the jeep for what it was designed for.

Thanks, I love the LED look. I have some high power LED reverse bulbs too that are wicked bright, helps a lot since there are no street lights around my house.

I forgot the tarp so the logs were right on the carpet, but I gave her a good cleanup when I got home and unloaded the wood.

Thanks! I like the WJ overall over than a WK I got to drive a few times, but maybe the limited/overlands are nicer than the laredos. The Jeep is more of a "truck" than Dad's IFS Suburban lol.
