Question about wideband install.

I'm going to be installing a LC-1 wideband in about a week and have a question about install.

Where is the best spot to mount the bung/O2 sensor on Kooks catted mids or can I use a bung for the rear O2 sensors since I have them shut off???

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Re: Question about wideband install.

Would recommend installing before the cats.

Just asking because with a dyno they take the afr reading at the tailpipes.

Thats mainly because there often isnt a bung to tap into for the WB 02. Cats change the chemical content of the exhaust stream. Not a bad deal, just needs to be accounted for.

So should I be alright using the driver side rear O2 bung? All that I've read have said that it's a very minimal difference in readings, that it shows a leaner ratio and that isn't really a bad thing when tuning.

Or should I just throw the WB in the driver side front O2 bung and use the narrow band sender from the LC-1 in the stock O2 harness?

Dude just get a wideband bung welded pre-cat. Save yourself the trouble...
