Front spoiler clearance in snow

We have a winter storm warning for the weekend with 16 + inches of snow. Should I remove my front spoiler?

Its easy enough to remove and yours looks painted so I would, im sure the drifts will be higher than 16in anyway and you have to be careful with ice chunks on the road. If it wasn't painted I wouldn't worry about it but why risk messing it up?

take it off.

and maybe not right away, but ask Marlin about the little skid plate he has. it hides behind the lip and helps keep stuff off the skid plate....... his is sand but same idea if it was snow.

Re: Front spoiler clearance in snow

Can anyone help me with taking the front spoiler off!! I have tried a few times but it does not seem to want to come easy and I'm afraid to break it! I have twisted all the tabs and then I start pulling it forward, but it doesn't seem to want to come away from the bottom of the bumper....any ideas??

Thanks!
-Chris

I made that mistake with my Overland when we had a bad storm a year or two back. 500 dollars later it was fixed.

Take the dam off. :)
