the amazing flashlight mount!

Alright so as many of you guys asked for, i will be explaining how to add the infamous flashlight mount to the back of a wk!

listen closely now, you don't wanna miss a step, they are all very important!

first off, open your trunk!

second off, grab the necessary tools:

you will need an hex key set, a flashlight mount ( i used the bracket from my fire extinguisher, clever and works perfect ), and most importantly, you will need a flashlight!! :)

next, you will want to unscrew the screw from the little metal bracket on either the left or the right side:

before:

after:

once that is done, place the screw inside one of the holes from the flash light bracket, and proceed to place it into the originally hole from where the screw was originally place,

the trick here is to replace the metal piece, with the plastic bracket

screw it in nice and carefully:

once you have tightly screwed in the hex bolt, make sure the bracket is straight, and slide in your flashlight!

and there you have it folks! your very own flashlight mount, ready for you when you need it!

Just curious, when do you fin yourself using your flashlight? I assume when you're offroading at night...?

oh yea that's right, my bad i forgot haha,

you would be very surprised how often i find myself using this flashlight, and now that it is right there, its perfect, i used to struggle looking through everything for it, now its right there, when its night time and i need to check something either in the trunk or in the hood, or really anywhere, its easy to just open trunk and grab it, plus in the winter when i gotta tow people out of ditches and what not, its good to use when looking for tow points :)

but yea also when i go offroading its great to use

ahh, gotcha. I may do it for fun, but I just doubt I'll ever need it readily available right there. It's great for those that offroad though. Seems like a handy spot for it.
