Another testament to Meguiar's Ultimate Compound...

I was really expecting nothing out of this...so I was very pleasantly suprised when I applied some UC to my wife's Liberty's faded wiper arms. They went from this:

To this....with hardly ANY effort, by hand.

I was going to remove, wire wheel, and paint, but after 2 minutes MAYBE with some UC, I didn't even have to bother removing them.

Wow, vast improvement.

Something I'd never have thought of polishing either to be honest as they looked fine before!

Oh, they were crappier than my iphone's camera could show. Sun-faded. I like the matte-black look, but not when it's due to sun fading. I'll be topping them with a coat of wax tonight before I forget again.

nice...i try and keep them sealed 2x a year, and spray detail them every other wash, they get water spotted, fade, and just stick out in a bad way especially on black. You would think they could put a little better coating on them for what vehicles cost.

Yeah...no kidding...these things take a beating from every angle, you'd think they'd do a little better job with the coatings. One little stone chip and it's pretty much over. I can't tell you how many times I've taken wiper arms off, wire brushed, and re-painted.
