Junk yard power seat
So I had a broken rail in my original WJ driver's seat. It was the 2WD cloth non-power seat. After months of looking I finally found a junkyard that had a 2004 black power seat clean not ripped for $100. I jumped on it and forgot to ask them if the power option works. I Installed it and the plug on the seat and the OEM plug that was under my driver's seat are not an exact match. So i cut the "new" seat connector and stripped some wire to try and connect to the OEM plug which i had also stripped at some point 1 inch from the plug. I wanted to see if by doing this connection if there will be movement of the seat before i go buy a plug. The connection never worked and i tried swapping the wires, but Nada. So I guess am asking for anything you can think of trying or if there is a fuse I need to install or look at , not so good with electrical stuff. Is there a way I can test the motors on the seat to see if they still work?
