Quadrant Lift vs Coil Springs

Hi Guys

Forgetting that quadrant Lift actually lifts the car, in a day to day driving conditions on the road does it actually improve the ride. Would it absorb the bumps any better than coil Springs.

My limited is coming without QL but I want to make sure I get a comfortable smooth riding experience over crap Sydney roads.

Keen to hear from owners who don't have QL installed.

Swapping standard springs for Crdstu front and dobinsons rear has improved the suppleness of the ride. Doninsoms will make a set to your chosen ride height. When comparing the actual springs the steel diameter is larger and more consistent.

I was interested in know opinions about the standard steel springs vs factory fitted QL. Out of the two which one provides more softer ride.

I've read on good authority the air suspension offers a softer ride. Coupled with a versatile ride height, thats what sold me the QL. What I do find quirky however, is at lowered sports height, the suspension is actually softer rather than firmer and visa-versa at max OR2 position. But day to day on road driving, the QL ride is softer.

I remember reading a review earlier this year in a motoring mag and they said the QL felt a bit 'waffly' but the steel was more 'a drivers car'.
But the QL would be softer over the bumbs

Not driven the steel version, but I have found the Quadra to be a little on the floaty side, but certainly soft on bumps.
I feel that when dropping down to aero mode, the ride is firmer, and more to my likeing.
