Racing Stripe!!!

So I plastip dipped the stripe. Everything flows with the body but it started to rain before I could do the roof and rear. The line runs parallel to the center of the hood it looks a bit off in the pic cause my hood is so reflective(Thx Paul )

Did you not want the racing stripe anymore? I've been wanting to do one on mine but have not pulled the trigger yet.

I'm confused by your question? I wanted an off-set stripe hence why I did it but rather than investing in vinyl and possibly disliking the outcome I plasti-dipped first to get a feel for it. I like the flat black on the black metallic. Below was my motivation for the design

I Didn't think about using the plexi dip to make a stripe. I just recently did the side chrome pieces and the rear brow and It looked bad ass IMO. Were you able to do it with 1 can or did it take more?

It should only take 1 can because the stripes are only 4.75 and 1.75 inches wide. It wont hurt to have an extra can to play it safe. The trick is you have to lay it on heavy and peel the tape before it dries. Work fast and its cake.

Wow. That really looks great. Awesome job and awesome idea. So, plasti-dip peels off I take it? Will it start peeling on its own or is it pretty much stuck on for good?
