Wanting to paint my black side moldings

I had originally intend to paint them to match my body color with the lettering in black, but after looking at a few pictures I wasn't so sure if that would be ideal. I am looking for some ideas on color. I was thinking maybe reverse the original idea, the molding in gloss black and the letting in the body color? The original idea may work but I just can't see it right in my head.

Thanks! What are you thoughts about the Grand Cherokee in gloss black?

I really think the contrast that would give would be a great addition to your jeep! especially because you have the blacked out headlights and brush guard and window tint. PS-get your front windows tinted even if its legal at 35% it would greatly enhance your look.

Yeah I have been meaning to get them tinted, just haven't looked around for a reputable and reliable shop. All my other vehicles I had to take out of town to get a good tint done. Is it 15% that matches the back?

Yes. 15 on front matches the back. I have super dark on the front by accident. I brought my car on friday to have it retinted. I wanted the 35% removed and replaced with 20%. My tint guy accidentally put 20% on my windows without removing the 35% which was already on the window. So now i have something crazy like 7%. My front windows are darker then the back. Hopefully bring it back to him tomorrow to get it tinted correctly.

i like the idea of bodymatched moldings. As for the lettering, i think the gloss black might blend in and get lost with the color of your paint.

I can't imagine you will have too much trouble. How much did that run you if you don't mind saying?

when i had them tinted at 35% it was about 30 bucks. This time i went to another shop and they charged me 50 which is pretty reasonable for the 20%.

I was thinking that too. So just body match? I have red calipers now. And considered the red. As I said I need to get a more up to date picture.
