bilsteins and stuff

where is everyone ordering the bilsteins from? tire rack is saying id have to wait until feb to get them shipped.

i also read in a post i should order SRT bilsteins because the WK ones raise the jeep? where do they have the SRT ones? will they just mount into the non SRT with no issues?

ill also be ordering H&R lowering springs. so if the site has those to it would make an easy one stop shop.

thank for any help!

srt bilsteins are DEALER only or used ! new they cost about 7 hundo from the lowest place you can find on the web.

for the WK Bilsteins.....shockwarehouse.com and shox.com....but I do believe i have read they are on backorder till the first of the year and beyond.

The SRT Bilsteins fit and work perfect. If you want a sportier ride and handling....get the SRT Bilsteins. You can only purchase NEW SRT Bilsteins from a Jeep authorized parts dealer. I would try car-part.com for low mile used first.

The WK Bilsteins indeed do raise the WK about 3/8". They had a little too much bounciness for me.

so the WKs where bouncier? how long did you leave them in? i know when i did alot with offroad shox it was an easy 500 miles to break them in. did you try riding them out? how was it?

Re: bilsteins and stuff

they were on a couple thousand miles. You know the bouciness on highway humps, bumps, going over uneven interstate surfaces, dips etc? Its not as bad as the stockers...but it was still there. Plus the 3/8" took almost all the drop from my WK Eibachs. The SRT's offer a much sportier and controlled ride and handling. I just didnt feel the WK Bilsteins were much of an upgrade from the stockers FOR me......IMHO.
