265/50R20 Photo Request

Hello Everyone,

I am new to Jeep Garage and, after only 2 weeks, I am completely addicted to this site. So addicted, in fact, that I haven't even taken delivery of my 2006 WK Overland yet and I've already ordered several suspension components and 20" SRT reps for it. Since I'm coming up on the winter season here in Colorado I'm going to be putting on a winter set of tires as soon as I receive it this Thursday. I would like to have a bit more sidewall than the OEM 45 series tires provide so I am interested in any photos you may have with the 265/50/R20 setup on SRT reps. I am particularly interested in the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1's. I am also swapping out the OEM springs with a set of used SRT springs I found on the red site so I'm a bit concerned with wheel clearance with this tire configuration. Any photos and/or advice you guys/gals could provide would be much appreciated. I'll be sure to post photos and feedback of my final installation. Thanks in advance.

I dont have any pix with that size tire, I have 275/45/r20 on mine with srt reps and lowered on srt8 Eibachs. With the 45 size I think it looks good, if not maybe on the bigger end. If anything i'd go down in profile, but thats just my opinion. Once you lower it you will have less open area in the wheel well to fill and may like the 45s'. Maybe lower it first to get a better idea of what will look good.

The Blizzaks are great winter tires, I had them on a Nissan Altima before and it drove through anything in winter, i'd pass suvs in snow storms.

Thanks Timmy. I am now leaning more towards the 275/45R20 setup you are running. It is also closer to the overall diameter of the stock 245/65R17 setup. Do you have a photo you could post of your WK with your current tires?
