18" mb torques and any set of winter tires. Hankook ipikes are a good value. Otherwise, tirerack has winter wheel and tire packages you can look up.

Re: Winter wheels and tires

18 and 20 inch OEM wheels are 8 inch wide with 56.4 mm offset. The size is stamped on the inside of the wheel if you want to double check.

Many seem to be running 45 offsets without issue. They will stick out almost 1/2 inch further than OEM.

Hi guys, new to the site, but am excited to see such a great community around jeep owners. I bought my first grand cherokee overland today, and have near new blizzaks fitted for my outgoing 06 Murano still in my possession. I am hoping I won't need to buy new tires and simply buy some steelys for my existing wheels, but I am concerned the size may be a little beyond proper fit. My current winters are 235/65/18. I have read everywhere the grand cherokee requires 265/60/18, although I am not convinced that these wont do the trick if outfitted on the recommended 18x8 steel rims.

Can anybody help me out with their experiences on this topic? I'd love to avoid buying another set if these will work.

Cheers.

That size should work fine. Your speedo would be slightly off, but not enough to worry about. If you already have the tires, just find a suitable set of winter wheels.

FWIW the stock 17" tire is a 245/65, so you wouldn't be much narrower than that, and narrow is good on a winter tire.

I'm going with Granit Alloy GX1 18" Silver painted on TireRack, already have the blizzaks.
