Anytime you have a hitch hooked up or a bike rack on the back it's nice to hit that button and stop the Park Assist from constantly yelling at you.

OH ok good to know-I do have a bike rack I use to haul around my KTM 300.

sorry again-so is the engine block heater automatic?

Mine was ordered from Texas so not sure why it has one-but in OK it does get pretty cold occasionally so I guess it is "cool" lol

ENGINE BLOCK HEATER — IF EQUIPPED
The engine block heater warms the engine, and permits
quicker starts in cold weather. Connect the cord to a
standard 110-115 Volt AC electrical outlet with a
grounded, three-wire extension cord.

The engine block heater cord is located:
• 3.6L Engine – coiled and strapped to the engine oil
dipstick tube.
• 5.7L Engine – bundled and fastened to the injector
harness.
The engine block heater must be plugged in at least one
hour to have an adequate warming effect on the engine.

WARNING!
Remember to disconnect the engine block heater
cord before driving. Damage to the 110-115 Volt
electrical cord could cause electrocution.

OK thanks a lot! Makes even less sense to have to raise the hood and do all that unless you live up north.

Right. Block heaters are for places where the temperature drops below zero and the engine fluids get too thick for operation.

The heater has to run off external electricity. A car battery doesn't have that kind of power.

I keep mine turned off.

I back my WK2 into just about every place I park (95-98%). The constant beeping was getting on my nerves.
