Old phone with Bluetooth 430N w NAV
Just purchased 2013 JGC with the 430N system. Has anybody had issues with the bluetooth not disconnecting? I have an old phone (Sony Ericsson that still says Cingular on it) and I don't know if its the phone or the car.
If the bluetooth doesn't disconnect then the phone doesn't know to connect again because it thinks its already connected and it wont connect. I can't even manually disconnect on the phone, It also jams the phone. I have to completely shut down/reboot for it to work again.
Other than telling me to get a new phone which I know I need, anybody have any suggestions?

You could manually turn the bluetooth off on the phone.
The BT module in the Jeep will turn off if you're not in a call within a certain time of shutting the engine off, or when you open the door. It's very possible that your phone simply doesn't realize it needs to disconnect due to very old software.
I'd try turning the BT off before you shut the car off.
...and getting a new phone. :p
