Can I rotate in a new tire?
So here is my problem. I have a 2006 LJ and I had a flat the other day. I took it in and it was in the sidewall so I got it road hazard. My problem now is I always rotate my spare in when I have my tires rotated and they said it wouldn't be an issue to rotate it in but to put it in the rear. I have 33 12.5 Goodyear Dura Tracs and they are about halfway worn. It worries me to put it on the rear because of the size and weight difference messing up my diff or anything else. By sive and weight I'm talking about the difference from wear because the new tire is the same size. Is it ok to do this with out having any problems with the driveline? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can either get another new tire or have the shop shave the new one down. Each axle should had the same size tire on them regarding size and tread

Thanks that's what I was thinking. I've read about shaving the tire but need to find some where here that does it.
