SRT8 Performance Calibrations coming soon!

October 30, 2012

"For Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, FIAT and SRTŪ customers who want to further enhance the performance of their vehicles, Mopar has reviewed the facilities and capabilities of Arrow Racing Engines and Arrington Engines for performance calibrations. Both companies have the appropriate tooling and software to create performance calibrations for select 2011, 2012 and 2013 model-year Chrysler Group vehicles. Arrow Racing Engines is based in Auburn Hills, Mich. and Arrington Engines is based in Martinsville, Va. Additional companies will be announced at a later date."

Do you know if this will void our warranties?

Doing heads and cam and or a blower kind of voids the warranty. If the said approved shops tune your car/ suv that had Mopar performance parts how could they void the warranty. These are supposed to be carb legal in 50 states. Mopar is controlling the quality by selecting shops and cashing in by cutting out thr "little tuners". Its all about money and control for Mother Mopar..

Mopar has done non-warrantied upgrades before. The Neon SRT-4s had Stage 1, 2 and 3 upgrades available from Mopar. I can't remember the specifics of the Stage 2 upgrades, but the Stage 3 upgrades didn't come with a warranty.

how would these shops tune cars that cant be driven to their shops? Is email tuning an option or is it a whole new programmed ecu like B&G offers?

I had a SRT Caliber and the warranty was voided as soon as you put in the Mopar stage one PCM. It stated on the box for off road use only, which effectively voided your warranty.

Thats what I figured. I would think that would make most turn to DS for tuning, especially if your no where near those shops. I know there is gonna be more but still
