Rear lowered only pics!!

Anybody got any pics of a wk with Srt springs on the rear only. Searched but could not find any. I bought some SRT spring but I am considering only dropping the rear and wonder what it looks like??

Thanks

My main thoughts were 1.if it would make the jeep sit level instead of the rear a little higher the way they are factory. And 2. Don't really have the extra $300 cash to buy the new front struts that are needed to drop the front correctly. I don't want to pull it apart once to put springs on the front the have to take it apart again to replace the struts when they blow the seal.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, still learning about the wk

I'm not 100% sure it would level you. I'd have to leave that up to someone else.

Usually lift/lowering kits are also leveling kits. For instance, the lowering kit i put on my SRT lowered it and leveled it.

If i were you, i'd hold off until i had the $300. I know how it is, them springs are staring you in the face!!

Where are you located? Might be able to find a way to get you some help on the install to lighten the load on the wallet!

ha, you are a long ways away! lame!

I'd just try it if I were in your position. Can you do the install and remove them easily if you dont like them?

Keeping your stock front springs and adding the SRT spring to the rear will level out the jeep. However, you could have spent less and raised the front level with the rear for $35. Post pics when you do this, as I too have wanted to see pics of this done.

Ya I'm just gonna throw the back ones on and see how it turns out. Ill post some pics

And parox- already sits to high so def dont want to raise the front.

Hi Paroxysym it's Stash again how would you level the front with the rear. I put the mll's on the back, and she's got more rake than I want right now.

to really level her out you could throw a hemi WK/XK coil in the front with a rustys/JBA strut spacer and it would be almost level, without a rake. if you did just the strut spacer with your stock springs, youll still have a rake- because i know the MLLs, even the stock replacements will yield an inch of lift.

I had thought about getting a set of hemi, or overland springs. Since I just put new Laredo springs in I just added the Mll's so for now I'll try the spacer. Since they only give a half inch would stacking those spacers be ok? Would welding them together before installation be good?

i know nate (omelet) or someone has run 2 of those strut spacers at the same time. you will need to get yourself some longer studs if you use 2 of them. thats actually not a bad idea to achieve that 1" lift.
