Autostick need help

Hi, I remember driving a commander years ago that if you would manually select for exemple gear 1, it wouldn't upshift.

I have an 07 S-limited and mine is always upshifting automaticly.

I need 5th gear to be able to dyno :)

Are there different tunes from the factory?
Is there a way to select autostick mode?

Thanks

When in "D", if you push the stick to the left it will go into manual mode. Mine will not shift out of whatever gear I put it in. Not sure if this holds true for non-US models.

It'll upshift at redline. It's an anti dummy thing they put into the later model Jeeps. Is it shifting too soon? or are you trying to hover close to the redline?

Mine doesn't upshift. Instead I think the fuel pump shuts off. Basically I cannot accelerate any more until I change gears or let the RPMs drop.

No, I was on the dyno on thuesday.
Because it's a diesel we have to pull from 1600 RPM and we couldn't give full throttle without downshifting.

When I read the autostick modus, it should be possible...
