Flowmaster "SRT" exhaust on 2005 WK 5.7 Hemi

One of the previous owners of the vehicle installed a Flowmaster dual exhaust that ends at the stock bumper tow hitch area. They removed the tow hitch equipment, not that big a deal but would love to have both exhaust and hitch like the SRT someday. My big problem is that they seem to have blocked off the spare cable so that it does not go up and down. Anyone have a workaround for this? I will post pictures of what it looks like a bit later.

Thanks,

CJ

I don't think the SRT's have the exhaust and hitch...it's one or the other. But I could be wrong.

There is a receiver hitch that works around the SRT exhaust.

Don't think they have a spare though.

I might be a bit screwed unless I do some major rerouting. They are coming straight through the spare area.

I had my spare tire off for awhile. It doesn't go up very well without the tension on the line. If yours isn't moving let the slack out of it... Get under the car and pull on it really hard. When I recoiled mine without any weight on it the line only went up half way before it bunged up. Good luck
