P0520 check engine code
Hello All,
I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone got the P0520 code. I had a check engine light with nothing else. I changed out the oil pressure sensor with a Mopar sensor, added about a half quart of oil that was lost during the changeout and the check engine light stayed on but now has a red oil light but only when cold. After about 5 minutes the red oil light goes away. Went to dealer (I think they didn't like that I do my own work) they said they did a flash update. Check engine light was clear until later that night (about 4 hours and engine cooled down) I kind of think they just disconnected the negative battery cable. Took it back and they said the wiring harness had wires melted together and they "repaired the wires". Next day, check engine light is on and the red oil light is on for about 5 minutes (enough time for warm up). I'm not happy with going back and forth with the same result. Has anyone had this issue? If so, what was your path forward? Keep in mind I've had this Jeep since new and have documented oil changes every 3-5K on the nose for the 100K on the car now. I get no engine noises and she still purrs nicely.

Re: P0520 check engine code
Winner, winner chicken dinner. Dealership caved and said they sold me a bad sensor. They also said my wiring in the harness going to the sensor was "melted". Hard to believe. far so good. Just wish out of all of the sensors they had in stock I didn't have to get a bad one.
