HID Question

Does anyone else have this problem? When i unlock my car sometimes my driver side hid low will not ignite. The passenger side always works. All i have to do is flip the switch on and off and it lights work fine.

Anybody else notice this? or suggestions?

Re: HID Question

Thanks Scott. do you think there is anything wrong with my wiring making this happen? I just installed the xenon depot relays and wiring and everything works correctly once on

Re: HID Question

hard to say.....may be a ground or a connection somewhere? But seems if it doesnt come on when you unlock...it would comeon when you turn them on. i dont have that option enabled..so I dont know if mine does that or not.

Re: HID Question

changed the setting to keep them off when i unlock the jeep. started it after a few hours of sitting and i keep the auto feature on (Auto lights on the stick). the driver side didnt fire again :(, so i had to flip the light switch off then on and it turned on fine again.

Re: HID Question

It sounds like a relay, but why would it work the second i toggle it on or off?

Re: HID Question

do you have a code reader? my passengers side does this sometimes and i get a code for low voltage in that light.

Re: HID Question

Interesting. I'm going to redo my ground on that side. Then check for codes.

Re: HID Question

I just got the brand new xenon depot completley sealed relays which I installed a few days ago. Why would these work better?
