2005 jeep grand cherokee front differential

I am replacing the front carrier/ differential. I received a replacement diff. but it has an electrical connector and the old one doesnt. Need to know if they are compatible or do I need to get another diff. ? Old part number tplwb012510324

New part number tplwb126520207. They are both 3.73 gears.

its hard to say for sure because I know there were some front axle variations, such as the right axle including the stub shaft on it and the stub shaft being separate on another. So long as you have the same companion flange and the same halfshaft style it *should* work. the connector is just for the elsd which will not hurt anything to go unused... I have though if I could come across a cheep enough front and rear elsd diff assemblies it would be fun to wire switches to them. They wouldnt hold as well as a locker but it would help! Ultimately without a smokin deal on them it would just cost WAY too much money to justify the gains.
