diablo tune reviews...

as we all know diablo tune has been released and most of us either ordering or installed it all ready.
got the trinity and installed the tune with bwoody intake and a borla ATAK. drove it for about an hour and i like it the car seems responsive ...but i expected more. saw a couple of videos about disabling the traction. ok i tried it the jeep became a rear wheel drive and its going side ways(its not four wheel spinning).
anyway its just an hour of driving so ill see what can it do tonight.

share your reviews and let the game begin :)

Just want to get some clarification if possible. I ordered a Trinity and have a 2012 GC with the HEMI. Have any tunes been released for my truck or just the SRT. Thanks.

just the SRT Jeep for now....the rest are coming

Installed mine two days ago, not impressed.
Drove all day and then went to my tuner to data log, he was not impressed at all.
A copy of the log has been sent to Diablo sport and awaiting response.
Back to B&G tune.

Re: diablo tune reviews...

really? What about the torque control in first gear? Still there?

ACEofSRT 11-12-2012 02:13 PM

I'm not sure if you mean torque management, but yes it's still there.
Diablo replied back today saying that the previous B&G tune might be interfering with their tune, although the previous tune was pulled out before the canned tune loaded.
Another guy tried to load the Diablo tune on his wk2 from his own trinity but it kept giving him error messages and didn't marry with his jeep.
So I'll just swap back to my stock factory PCM and see what happens. To tell you the truth I'm not getting my hopes up.

well...cmr's will be where the moneys at with these beasts anyway...just like the gen1 SRt Jeeps

ACEofSRT 11-12-2012 02:31 PM

I hear you, a cmr tune is the only reason I got the trinity.
Tomorrow should erase the doubts when I swap back to the stock PCM and try to load the canned tune and see what happens.

So what are we seeing as gains? I have heard 2-3 1/10s in 0-60 runs and up to half a second in the quarter. Is this true?

ACEofSRT 11-12-2012 05:56 PM

I didn't do a run with the Diablo tune, did one when data logging but it was from a roll and had some knock and retard. I immediately put back the B&G tune.
So far the B&G tune is working very well and got some good times with it.
