2014 8" nav into 2011+ models

I recently bought a 2012. I don't mid the nav/display.

Do you guys think it will be easy to swap in the 2014 nav / center stack setup right into a 12. One would hope they leave all the connectors the same. The whole piece comes out fairly quick if a swap was possible

No, as other posts have already said, it won't fit. Be happy with the 2012. Every year they are going to come out with something the previous year wished they had.

That's he understatement of the year. Since you already own one.... You do know the vents are on each side of the existing unit.

On a happy note... I've watched a lot of "Pimp my Ride" and they can do damn near anything. This by no means would be out of their league. Let us know how it turns out. Pics please, thank you.

Based on the other threads on this subject, the issue is more electrical...the 2014 uses a new communication bus system that is very different than the '11-'13 models. So even if you could make it happen physically, there would be the issue of it not being able to "talk" to your older vehicle...

I guess the cost of such an upgrade would exceed any amount the OP would be underwater when trading in a MY12 for a MY14...

Doubt it since the LED lights would throw a code that there is a malfunction in the tail light since the LED's have such low impedance compared to an incandescent bulb.

No one has issues changing out to led bulbs though correct?
