Took the pics right as it was getting dark. The black on brown looks pretty cool. I'll try and get better pictures in the daylight. The tires are great. A tad louder than stock at certain speeds, but it'll do for a winter tire. The tire is the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R SUV.

pic of the tread.

I like the idea of Plasti-diping my limited's wheels for the winter. Do you have a write-up as how you went about it? Did you spray them while the wheels were still on the Jeep? Just tape off the tire and lugs? Thanks for any advice.

I sprayed them before putting them in the vehicle. I just used painter's tape around the edge between the wheel and tire and used some trash bags to cover the sidewall. I used 4 cans or so and used a multi coat method. I made sure not to completely cover the wheel with the first two coats. Just get a nice base started. You should still see some silver after the 2nd coat. I waited about 10 mins between coats and let them dry a full 24 hours before installing them.

This is the method I used to spray. Skip to 2 mins in to avoid product placement and tire masking talk.
