Rock Rails in Action
Not to be critical, but I just don't get it, rock rails ona 35-45k vehicle. I have rock rails on my TJ, and they get trashed, used to pivot on tight trails, helping out when yo get high centered, but everything else under my TJ is 1/4" steel. If you are playing in rocks need to protect everything, and not with 1/8" factory skids that are not going to hold op if they get centered on a rock. They do protect the rockers, but you still take scratches and dings, they mitigate serious damage. Does anybody have any pics of these in action, or is this more just in case.

I won't take the Overland where I take my JK but I do feel better about it with the rock rails. We took it on Broken Arrow and Soldiers Pass in Sedona when it was brand new and It wheels pretty good for an open front end. Now it has a little more protection and better tires.
